Our Highly Trained Constables/Agents will deliver the court documents or your paperwork to the individual, Company or Agent that you direct us to serve. They will serve your documents by “in hand service” or by “last and usual service”, depending on the rules and regulations of Massachusetts Civil Process. A “last and usual service” consists of the Massachusetts Constable Service Constable/Agent going to address you have provided and looking for the individual you have given for us to serve. If the person in question is not at that location and there is no other person of legal age to accept service the documents will be left at that location. In the case of this type of service, another copy of the documents will be mailed to that location by USPS First Class mail.

After the service has been completed, the Constable/Agent will complete a OFFICER’s AFFIDAVIT and RETURN OF SERVICE, which is an affidavit stating exactly how and when the service was completed. We will email you a copy of the affidavit and mail the originals to your home/office. Once you receive the original return of service in the mail you will need to attached them to the original court document and return them directly to court or your Attorney.

The cost of service depends on the type of documents, the type of service needed, the number of individuals being served, and the city/town the documents are being in. Please call our office at 617-391-8517 for an estimate of service.

If you have been issued a Capias against a Defendant for unpaid money due on a court case judgment, you should contact our office immediately by phone 617-391-8517 or email MaConstableSer@aol.com.

Our office takes great care to ensure that services are delivered promptly and in accordance with the rules and regulations of Massachusetts Civil Process.
Depending on the time of day we receive the documents and the type of documents in most cases documents are usually served in 48 hours not including weekend, holidays or weather conditions.
Services that need to be in hand can take longer if an individual is avoiding service or being unresponsive.
The service of a Capias has no time line. A Capias case could take weeks, months or may not be enforceable at all. Depending on the information uncovered during the case.
