ABOUT LOAL
Loal G. Tucker is a third-generation rancher and horseman, whose family has been ranching in New Mexico for 150 years. His mothers family, Gordon, was involved in several of New Mexico’s largest ranching operations, and his maternal grandfather, Johnny Gordon, worked at Santa Fe’s famed Bishop’s Lodge in the early 1900’s. During his youth, Loal G. Tucker spent summers horseback, high in the Pecos Mountains, rounding up and doctoring cattle, mending fences, and leading pack strings in the high country.
Loal is a highly respected trainer and clinician. In addition, he offers clinics throughout the year: Horsemanship, Confidence, Ranch Versatility, Working Cattle, Trail Confidence and a LTH Riding Club. Loal tailors his teaching style to accommodate the personalities and abilities of both horses and people. He is an accomplished speaker and showman.
